THIS SEASON'S MUST-HAVE ACCESSORY: THE HAIR CLIP
If you're looking for a quick, effortless, and affordable way to make your look feel unique, then how about investing in the hair clip trend and join the fun!
The other day I (Annabell) met a friend who was wearing super sparkly hair clips in a messy up do. When I asked her where they are from, I was surprised when she told me that she bought them from the high street. They looked so expensive therefore I expected they would cost at least around £30 each.
Turned out they come in a back of 4 and cost only £8.00! You can guess already what happened right? The following day I went to the high street and bought those beautiful shaped diamante slides. Alongside a few other pretty clips :)
Here I am sitting in my living room in the pictures - showing you how I styled those sparkly slides, which come in a pair of silver and gold clips. Aren’t they pretty? When the hair clip trend took over instagram, I honestly got hocked as well and was meaning to invest in some hair accessory but I did not want to spent a fortune. As those clips tend to often break after just a few usages. The ones I’m wearing in these images feel of good quality and fingers crossed they won’t ever break apart!
Looking through my drawers of jewellery and accessories I found a hair clip my mum gave me a long time ago which I totally forgot about. It’s actually an old-school tortoiseshell barrette of very good quality and cost around €50. Seeing its such a big trend now I’ll start wearing it from now on to add that little extra touch to my daily outfits. I’m still on the look out for some vintage tortoiseshell barrettes and other cute vintage clips (as I’m a massive fan of anything vintage). For now all those others will do! hehe :)
