WHY EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE A TWO-PIECE SET IN HER CLOSET

WHY EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE A TWO-PIECE SET IN HER CLOSET

Two-piece sets

are currently the trendiest ensemble that you can wear, right? Here I am (Annabell) showing you how I’ve styled this check tweed set from the high street.

Two-piece sets come in so many different styles, colours, and I find the best part about a set is that you can mix and match the pieces easily to not only show your style, but really maximize your options in your wardrobe! A must-have - don’t you agree?

Once you have found the perfect two-piece set, how exactly do you style it?

In these pictures I’m wearing a newly purchased set from mango which I have styled with a simple black merino roll neck from Uniqlo as well as some black tights from Falke and I added a gold chain medallion necklace from Ania Haie, which was gifted to me. As well as I’m wearing earrings from and other stories and a crunchie from H&M (old). This is quite a smart look which I would only wear to meetings or in the evening for an event or out for dinner.

Two-piece sets like those really make me feel quite bossy (hehe) as they tend to look very smart. Don’t you agree?

As this is an oversized jacket I think it would look also very cool just worn over a white or black t-shirt with some Levi’s jeans and sneakers - to make it look more casual. I like to layer my necklaces which gives that look that little extra. I’ll definitely style this jacket soon with a pair of jeans and see in which other combinations I can style it.

If you rather like the smart look why not add some Heels? Or ankle boots!

OPTIONS

If you like to style the skirt by itself then I would wear a black T-shirt and a black blazer and some black ankle boots. Or another option to make it the ‘casual skirt look’ would be a chunky knit jumper in black or cream and some biker boots.

There are so many options!

I can already see that I’ll purchase at least one spring/summer two-piece set maybe in a pink or red. Let’s see what I’ll come across ;) but hopefully I’ll find some vintage set - that would be amazing! I’ll keep you posted for sure!

Asides from being totally of-the-moment, two-piece sets are crazy versatile, they offering you so many options, whether you wear the pieces together or separately.

I also love that these sets are available in every possible style. Whether you like it to be boho, girly, minimalistic, colourful or modern there is a two-piece set for everyone!

Dress up or down?

I find two-piece sets super easy to dress up with adding some jewellery, hair clips and a pair of heels.

And dressing down is as simple as dressing up. Just add a pair of comfy trainers, gold hoop earrings and tie your hair in a pony tail and off you go!
