FIVE GUYS & THE 4 OF US - BY LYDIA COLLINS
As you might have noticed from our Instagram (and this recent post from Annabell at Restaurant by Chloe), that we are a big fan of shooting with the talented London based photographern Lydia Collins. She’s a delight to work with and she’s just finished shooting our newest header image for the blog!
A few months ago Lydia shot a model at Five Guys, an American fast food restaurant with 60s Diner interior. After we spotted these images on her Instagram feed, we thought they looked awesome and and they inspired us to create something similar. So we thought it would be fun to do a group shoot where we wear 60s inspired clothes in a retro location but a fresh vibe. We wanted to create some unique shots that were a bit different from what we usually do.
Lydia organised to shoot at their Covent Garden restaurant. We had to be there before the lunchtime rush, as we didn’t want to have any people in the background and enough space to move around to find the perfect spots and angles. We were lucky enough and had almost the whole downstairs sitting area for our selves.
For this shoot, we thought it would be cool to wear a colour combo of denim, white and red. To fit in with the almost monochromatic red & white interior.
Zsanett wore a white dress by mango and her beloved vintage Levis jacket. We added some hair accessories such as bandanas for the final retro touch.
Overall we are really pleased with the final images and we can’t wait to continue shooting with Lydia with different themes at other cool locations throughout London.
