C-REEL AKA Cyril Saulnier FEAT ANNABELL IN BALI
Today I want to introduce you to a wonderful person called C-Reel AKA Cyril Saulnier. Even the name is just dreamy. I had the pleasure to work with Cyril for a few hours on a rainy day in Canggu, Bali. I came along his beautiful work on Instagram while I was looking for Bali based photographers, who do test shoots. There you go, after a few messages back and forward I found myself together with my boyfriend in a car with a private driver going down all the way from Ubud, the jungle of Bali to Canggu (A new surfer paradise) about 20 miles away.
You think 20 miles is not far, of course it`s not but when there is only one small road, packed with cars and scooters - this journey may take up to 2,5 hrs. Oh well, it was worth the drive as I not only had one shoot booked on this specific day, nope I also had another one just by the beach in the rain. More soon here!
Back to Cyril, we met up with him at The Slow Boutique Hotel in the centre of Canggu. He has shot there before so I trusted him (Hoping that this Hotel has to be a good location to shoot at ;) I didn`t get disappointed - it was no problem to use there amazing open space and hallways to create some nice lifestyle content, as you can see below. I, as usual rocked up with a rucksack packed with my own clothes, chucked some on, changed the earrings every now and then as well my hair.
I think we are both very pleased with the results. Seeing it was a very quick and super humid shoot. I just love the fact, that I just can get in touch with people online and meet up to create content like this. We enjoyed some drinks before we started shooting away and Cryil told us that he is not only a Photographer - nope, he does also run some bike shops in Paris! He therefor got quite a few things in common with my boyfriend, which is also a very enthusiastic road cyclist, who has directed short film for brands like Rapha :)
Big thank you to Cyril to make my trip to Canggu worth while ;)
