LAUNDRETTE COLLAB SHOOT WITH PETER BURKILL, PART 1
You may remember that a little while ago we posted Behind The Scenes pictures of a collaboration photoshoot we planned with our April guest blogger, hair stylist, Peter Burkill! Click HERE if you'd like to see the BTS post again!
It's just so much fun working on a joined project together, we love to get creative, and get new people involved too, it never hurts to expand our contact list, and along the way we are meeting people whom potentially could be guest blogging for us in the future as well! :)
As we said in the Behind The Scenes post, I (Zsanett) have walked past this Laundrette a couple of times, and Lord knows why, but one day on my way home I looked inside and thought it actually could be a really cool location for a shoot, so I snapped a quick picture and sent it to the girls and luckily they liked the idea!
At first, we were thinking to do the shoot as one story of us getting ready for a Red Carpet event, but then ended up getting so many great images, we just had to split it into two stories..
It wasn't an easy shoot to plan tho, since Sara is deep into her Uni reading and exams at the moment, I went to Miami for my 30th, and Annabell busy with loads of things as well, it was just a bit of a mission finding the right people to work with, getting all our outfits sorted etc, but at the end, literally two days before the shoot, everything fell into place and we couldn't be more happier with the results!
ALL ABOUT THE HAIR ROLLERS
When we were getting all our inspiration pictures collected for the Mood Board, we all fell in love with the hair roller look, so at first we all wanted to have rollers in, but thankfully Pete, our hair stylist suggested that we don't all go for the same look, even if we all like it so much, and to be honest, he was absolutely right!
JUST HANGING IN THE DRYER. AS YOU WOULD ;)
I mean.. Is this not how you get your washing done?! ;) Poor Annabell.. Anything for a good pic tho', no? ;)
PRETTY IN RED
So glad we went for a red top-red lip combo, it goes so well with Sara's colouring!
I love this image of us, it looks like a Vintage Ad, doesn't it? :) We first wanted to go with popping colours, but Gabor, our photographer suggested to go with these colours instead to create a Vintage look, seeing we were shooting in such old school location! Again, we are very happy we weren't too stubborn, trying to stick to our initial ideas! :)
LEGS FOR DAYS
But seriously, look at those legs!! Jealous.. :)) We are actually lucky I think that we had all those customers in the Laundrette, actually using the facilities, the clothes being tumble dried behind Annabell makes the picture even cooler!
We thought we would show you the images we collected for the first look's Mood Board, there are so many cool ones out there! I especially love the one with one of the Olsen twins (don't ask which one that is, haha)!
