L'Oreal Colorista Washout Hair Colour Review

The other day when I was on my way to a shoot with the girls, I had to pop in to Boots to pick up some hair styling products very last minute - as usual :), and I bumped into L'OREAL's very new washout hair colour range, and I got so excited, I had to get the 'Peach' one on the spot! Haha..

Can I just also point out that this is not a sponsored post, we have not been given anything to review this product. I just really wanted to try out this new product, and wanted to share my thoughts on it here on the blog. So my review of this Colorista Peach washout colour is 100% my own opinion :)  Hope it helps you decide whether you wold like to try it out or not.

I've been loving the pastel hair trend for years, first I tried using hair chalks, that even tho worked nicely on my hair, it left marks all over my clothes, so I ended up only wearing my hair up in a bun for the day, then had to wash it out so I won't destroy my bed sheets.. Annoying.

Next I tried Bumble and Bumble hair chalk in spray version, hoping a bigger brand would have figured something against the marks, and much to my disappointment they didn't.. I still love the brand tho, and all other products I own and or ever tried, I know this temporary hair colouring business is a difficult one, especially if you want to go for a pastel colour..

So no wonder I was very unsure about this product as well, but I thought it's worth a try, it only says it will last 3 washes , so even if I don't like it, it will go away in a few days anyway. Well I'm happy to report, the results were lovely, it only costs just over £6, so very affordable I can definitely recommend it if you have lighter, preferably blonde hair, as it won't show much on darker/brunette hair. I have highlights, and on the blonde parts it shows nicely, but can see nothing or very little on my darker hair parts.

But if you are a natural or even coloured blonde, it shows beautifully, my cousin, who is naturally blonde got so excited, she got herself one in 'Pink', and it looks insanely good!

BEFORE

It was very easy to use, make sure once you've applied the colour, you only wash your hair with water, so you don't loose the colour!
