SARA'S FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS PARTY OUTFITS OF 2017

Christmas season is almost upon us with less than a week until December. Some might even say that the festive season started weeks ago, and if Oxford Street is anything to go by then Christmas is definitely here! December is the month of Christmas parties and where we all get our finest items out of the cupboards. Personally, I'm kicking the month of with the yearly Christmas party hosted by our modelling agency, which brings me to the topic of this post - what should I wear?

In this post, I’m showing my top 3 favourite Christmas party pieces of this season. They are all quite dressed up, normally I like to dress quite casual - but if I were to go all out I guess now's the time. I hope you find something that you also like, and please do let me know if you got any favourites

THE WHITE JUMPSUIT

This jumpsuit is from Vila, and I absolutely love it. For some reason, I feel that jumpsuits are slightly more casual then dresses, so this is what I tend to go for. However, being as clumsy as I am, this is a veeeery dangerous choice of colour (if you can call white a colour???) . One really great thing about this jumpsuit though, is that it is not see through. Pretty much every single time I try on a white item like this you can see straight through it, so they are absolutely unwearable. This piece however is white and sheer, but solid enough to cover up your underwear :P Maybe not if you are wearing bright coloured knickers with a crazy pattern - but with nude or white underwear, you should be safe :)

THE CLASSIC BLACK GALA DRESS

This dress is actually one that I decided to keep after a THE 4 OF US studio shoot a couple of months back. It is from ASOS and quite cheap, only £25. I am a big fan of this dress (obviously seeing a decided to keep it), but I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. Lately I have been spending most days in the library or at home studying, and this dress just hasn’t felt appropriate to use… but almost though, as I do really love sitting in front of a desk dressed in a skin tight gala outfit :P

THE DEEP GREEN VELVET DRESS

Last but not least, the green velvet dress from Vero Moda and maybe the most festive one of them all.

This dress actually comes in a dark red and a navy blue as well, so I found it very difficult to choose which one to go for. I’ve seen some pictures of brunettes in the red one, and they’ve looked absolutely stunning. However, I think either the green or the navy works better for super pale blondies like myself. So, as you can see I ended up picking the green one.
