MIAMI BEACH - SARA

During these cold (but not that cold) winter months in London, we like to dream about the sun, the sea and long days under a bright blue sky - and Miami Beach seems like an appropriate place to send our minds. Sara spent some time in Miami a little while ago and got to enjoy one of Florida's very long and very large sandy beaches, which of course was a lovely place to spend her holiday!

Ben and I had some great days relaxing in Miami. Every morning we walked up to a street called Lincoln Road and had breakfast. This road had quite a lot of good clothing shops, and cute restaurants – so a good place to visit if you are ever in Miami. For the rest of the day we mainly just stayed by the pool, or we relaxed on the beach.

On one of the days we decided to go for a run along the seaside, but quickly realized it was insanely hot – and way too much of an effort to be out running. So we ran for about 10 minutes and decided to head back to the hotel. Oh well, we tried…

We stayed at The Shore club, which is a beautiful spa hotel located right on the seafront of Miami Beach. The hotel has a couple of nice restaurants, and a great outdoor bar lounge with a pool surrounded by awesomely comfy sofas. Definitely a place to check out if ever in Miami :)
